The overshadowing secret plaguing Whitney's mind drivers her away, leaving Aaron and everyone she met behind.
Will Aaron find his way to Whitney again?
Or was their love something that most people desired and never found?
Review: Kaylee Ryan does it again! This book is the bomb.com and makes me want to move to a southern state to meet me a southern gentleman! Aaron is a good ol' boy who is just looking for "the one" and although he has some ideas about how we will find her when he meets Whitney these ideas are thrown out the window. Whitney has not only lost her mother but she lost her in one of the hardest ways, watching her wither away. She moves away to get away from the memories and to be with the only family she has left and along the way she meets Aaron and his family. I just love the story line because its so real and honest and touched my heart and totally made me cry! Plus the sexual tension between Whitney and Aaron - I felt like I myself was about to go up in flames! I loved that even though they definitely felt this tension Aaron never pressured Whitney in any way! He is such a gentleman and I hope that someday I find someone like him for myself. Kaylee Ryan is definitely an author that has crept up to be one of my favorites and I can't wait for the next book!

Book: Southern pleasure (Southern Heart #1)
Author: Kaylee Ryan
Summary: They tell you that a parent’s love is all consuming. I never put much thought into it. Not until the minute I heard her take her first breath. That little girl is my world. I’d do anything to protect her.
My ex signed over her rights and her family vowed that my daughter didn’t exist. Now that she’s gone, they want my little girl. They’re trying to say I can’t give her what she needs.
I’ve known Evan all my life. Our families farms run parallel with each other. He and my brother Aaron have been best friends for as long as I can remember.
What they’re trying to do is wrong. He needs my help, someone he can trust and I’m more than happy to do it. I volunteered without hesitation.
I should have thought about what it would be like to have our lives intertwined. I should have thought about what would happen
Review: I LOVE KAYLEE RYAN!!! After reading this book Kaylee has become one of my favorite authors. Not only do I know that her books will be amazing with a great plot line, a beautiful romance and a love story that will suck you in. I can reread this (and others) so many times and still love it each time! Evan is AMAZING! How many men find out their girlfriend/friend with benefit is pregnant and he drops everything and does everything to make sure that his baby is taken care of! He is so worried about everything that it is so sweet! Then Kinley is like a chick that I aspire to be, a strong independent woman who just gives her love without expecting anything in return. I love how their love story builds - they have known each other their whole life but being put into this situation it brings about a new viewpoint for both of them. I just love their dynamic together and let me just say was when the baby was about to be born and Evan was so so worried about Kinley and Kinley was so worried about Evan I thought it was just beautiful and perfect. I literally cannot but into words just how much I love this book, this relationship and the people in this story. I love that the characters aren’t perfect but vulnerable and down to earth and people that I would love to have in my life. *Please God send an Evan to me* Another great thing is that I would recommend this story to anyone and everyone.

Author: Kristen Ashley
Summary: Circe Quinn goes to sleep at home and wakes up in a corral filled with women wearing sacrificial virgin attire - and she is one of them. She soon finds out that she’s not having a wild dream, she’s living a frightening nightmare where she’s been transported to a barren land populated by a primitive people and in short order, she’s installed very unwillingly on her white throne of horns as their Queen.
Dax Lahn is the king of Suh Tunak, The Horde of the nation of Korwahk and with one look at Circe, he knows she will be his bride and together they will start The Golden Dynasty of legend.
Circe and Lahn are separated by language, culture and the small fact she’s from a parallel universe and has no idea how she got there or how to get home. But facing challenge after challenge, Circe finds her footing as Queen of the brutal Korwahk Horde and wife to its King, then she makes friends then she finds herself falling in love with this primitive land, its people and especially their savage leader.
Review: This by far is my FAVORITE in the series, which was of course difficult to pick (but I did it!) I love Circe, I love all her quirky sayings and how she talks to Dax melts my heart (also when I find a man, I hope I talk like this to him!!!) Then don’t even get me started on Dax and how amazing he is - like yes some of things he does/his culture does are primitive but thats part of the point for the story! However overall he gives me big ol’ feels all the way down to my toes! I think Kristen does this amazing job of having some pretty crazy and amazing characters (main and secondary) and having them work all together in a story and you feel like you know all of them! It never feels like there are people just added in or that a secondary character is more important. Instead it's this beautiful balance that makes the book so much more than a story, but rather an adventure that you are sucked into and you don’t want to ever leave! I just love everything about this book and I’m not going to lie but there has been many times that I will have finished reading it to only start over again from the beginning because it is that amazing.

Thrown into inauspicious circumstances, with years of practice, Finnie bests the challenges and digs into her adventure. But at the same time Frey plunges Finnie into a web of political intrigue that includes assassination plots, poison, magic, mystery and… dragons
Review: Can I just say that I did not expect this series from Kristen. I am so used to the Rock chicks and the other “Hot Men” series. This series feels like it's from a whole different universe (which it is;)) I think that is one of the MANY things that makes Kristen so amazing at what she does is how she is able to write from all different time periods, and create a whole different world that sucks you in and makes you feel like you are there or that you would like to go there! I love the amount of drawa in this story and how I was brought to tears when the herione was upset, felt her own joy and so many more emotions! I also love that these books are longer (I read super fast so it's nice to not finish a book in an hour!) and you feel invested in the story without the plot being boring or to long! Although I hate to say this because I love all of Kristen Ashley’s book this series is my favorite of hers! This is a book that I will/have read time and again. It hits all of my favorite things 1. Alpha Men 2. strong/crazy/hilarious heroine 3.Great supporting cast 3. Amazing writing and all of these plus so much more makes it into an amazing story!

Author: Aurora Rose Reynolds
Summary: Sophie Grates has never had it easy and is just living a day at a time. When she meets Nico Mayson her whole world changes in just an instant. Nico is more than ready for his “boom” and doesn’t mind coming on strong to show Sophie how much he cares. Sophie though isn’t too sure of herself, Nico and this relationship as a whole. It will take Nico’s strong will and Sophie’s determination for them to get that happily ever after story!
Review: *Spoiler* So I love Aurora Rose Reynolds and her books but sometimes I get just a wee bit tired of all the “accidental” pregnancies - I mean you would think that this family would learn how to put on a condom by know! I do love the “accidental” pregnancy stories and it never stops me from reading a book, but this series seems to have one and sometimes even two a story so if you are reading the books back to back it can be a bit much. That being said I still love this story and still rate it 5 stars because of how awesome it is! I love Nico (another great Mayson brother - I would be willing to take any of them if there was one left over! :) he is just so amazing and I love the Alpha tendencies that pop up and how protective he is! I’m not going to lie I just love that in a man!!!

Author: Aurora Rose Reynolds
Summary: Cash Mayson has to make a hard choice, choosing between the love of his live or the life of his unborn child. He chooses his child, but years later learns that by leaving behind Lilly he left behind so much more than just his heart. Lilly Donovan has just moved back to Tennessee when she runs into Cash, she isn’t sure that she wants him back in her life for herself but is willing to allow him in for the sake of his daughter a daughter he never knew he had. Cash and Lilly must work through their past relationship, a crazy ex and a stalker coming for Lilly. Will they make it or will this be too much for the both of them?
Review: I totally get why Cash broke up with Lilly when he did and props to him for trying to step up and be a Dad which is not something that a lot of men would do! As much as I hated that it happened and that Cash’s ex was such a crazy person (although she kind of redeemed like 5% of her worth at the end) I do think the drama was necessary for them and their relationship. At the beginning Lilly is so unsure of herself but having to travel the heavy road by herself really made her grow and mature and I think made her able to handle Cash a little more. I loved this story and I also loved the two kids and how they interacted together, I don’t know many 4 and 5 year olds who would handle learning they had a sibling so well! I just love this series and I love the way Aurora writes, each book is different but still maintains the general tone of what she wants! This is a series that I return to again and again and always have pre-ordered for the next book!

Author: Aurora Rose Reynolds
Summary: Trevor Mayson has meet his “boom” and she is everything he could have ever wanted. However she doesn’t fit into his plans and so he pushed her away, but when she starts to move on Trevor just can’t stand by and watch her leave. The more he tries to stay away the more intense his feelings become until he realizes that he can’t life without her. Liz Hayes is done waiting for Trevor, her heart was broken the first time he left and she isn’t sure she can go through it again. She has already lost so much in her life the question is will be willing to ever trust Trevor again?
Review: So I am a huge fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds and her books and I love the #BOOM! Each book is just as great as the last with an Alpha Male and a strong heroine that make your heart melt when they get together! However out of the four Mayson brothers Trevor is probably my least favorite (but by no means is he not an awesome lead male and if it came down to it I would marry him in a heartbeat:)) I just feel like it took me longer to warm up to him because I feel like at the beginning he seemed to give up on Liz and left her alone because he was scared and although that is totally okay it doesn’t seem to really fit him and his character of a charge ahead and work through any problem. However I did love Liz and I felt for her and for anyone who ever loses a parent at a crucial age and how that changes your believe system. Overall this is still a great story, with amazing characters a plot that sucks you in and an overabundance of alpha maleness that fills your heart with Joy!
